WHAT DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED

The ReStore's mission is to generate income to enable Habitat Greenville to create affordable homeownership opportunities in Greenville County. Your donation keeps usable items out of the landfill while helping support affordable home construction for families in need. Your donation is deeply appreciated and a receipt for tax deduction will be provided.

  • Appliances- less than 10 years old in working condition

  • Architectural items

  • Cabinets

  • Countertops (solid surface or granite)

  • Doors (Most types)

  • Flooring (New in box)

  • Most Furniture – entertainment centers, armoires and desks are
    accepted on a case-by-case basis

  • Hardware

  • Home Décor

  • Housewares

  • Lighting  (except can lights and fluorescent tubes or bulbs)

  • Lumber and wood trim (6'in length or LONGER)

  • Plumbing Fixtures – except used faucets

  • Masonry

  • Tools

  • Windows

  • Clothing (only picked up with other donations)

  • Certain electronic devices such as vintage or collectible items or video
    gaming systems with all cords and accessories, computer monitors with
    the proper connection/power cords

Items we can't accept

  • Used Mattresses and Box Springs – only trial mattresses will be accepted for pick up or drop off at our stores if they are less than 3 months old

  • CRT style televisions

  • Computer monitors or video gaming systems without proper cords and
    accessories

  • Chemicals, Fuels, or Hazardous Materials (Solvents, Strippers, Antifreeze
    and Propane)

  • Cultured Marble Sinks, Shower Pans or Tubs

  • Cast-iron bathtubs

  • Cast-iron bathtubs

  • All types of computers including laptops and tablets

  • Keyboards and other computer accessories including hard drives, mice and speakers

  • Printers and copiers

  • Radios, VHS and CD players, remote controls, stereo equipment, turntables
    (except if Vintage)

  • Any items that are broken, torn, stained, moldy, mildewed, covered in pet hair or feces, having foul odors or in need of major repair

  • Organs and Pianos

  • Particle Board Furniture of any kind

  • Sleeper Sofas

  • Unframed Mirror and Glass

  • Used, Rusted Latex paint

  • Oil-based Paints and Stains

How to Donate to the ReStores

To donate, you can drop your items off at one of our two locations (we'll help you unload larger items!) or request pickup using one of the following methods:
