WHAT DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED

The ReStore's mission is to generate income to enable Habitat Greenville to create affordable homeownership opportunities in Greenville County. Your donation keeps usable items out of the landfill while helping support affordable home construction for families in need. Your donation is deeply appreciated and a receipt for tax deduction will be provided.

  • Appliances

  • Architectural items

  • Cabinets

  • Clothing

  • Countertops (granite or attached to cabinets)

  • Doors

  • Flooring (new)

  • Furniture

  • Hardware

  • Home décor

  • Housewares

  • Lighting (except can lights and fluorescent tubes or bulbs)

  • Lumber and wood trim 
    (6' or over in length)

  • Masonry

  • Plumbing fixtures

  • Tools

  • Windows

Items we can't accept

  • CRT-style televisions or monitors or that over 10 years old

  • Chemicals, fuels, or hazardous materials (solvents, strippers, antifreeze, etc.)

  • Propane

  • Cultured marble sinks, shower pans, or tubs

  • Commercial doors

  • Computers, copiers, or printers

  • Lumber and trim under 6' in length

  • Organs or pianos

  • Particle board entertainment centers

  • Unframed mirrors or glass

  • Used, rusted, latex paint

  • Used mattresses

  • Oil-based paints and stains

  • Items that are broken, torn, stained, disassembled, moldy, mildewed, or in need of major repair

  • Sleeper sofas

  • Stained or torn furniture

How to Donate to the ReStores

To donate, you can drop your items off at one of our two locations (we'll help you unload larger items!) or request pickup using one of the following methods:
